Instructions

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Details of thermal insulation

The suit is made from 5 mm neoprene panels (with production tolerance).

Distribution:

Thermospan on the chest and back to increase the feeling of warmth

Supratex at the knees, seat and soles of feet for superior abrasion resistance

Smooth Glideskin cuff and neck seals: the smooth part is turned over to stick to the skin and prevent water leakage.

Wear underwear for thermal insulation.

Waterproofing

Fully waterproof metal back zip.

It is recommended to regularly lubricate the zip with paraffin to prolong its life and to make the suit easier to close.

The seams of the suit and hood are waterproof, with a glued and blind stitched (GBS) assembly: the neoprene is glued first of all, then sewn for maximum strength (the sewing needle does not go completely through the neoprene in order to prevent water infiltration).

Si-tech valves

Freedom of movement

One-piece (the hood is sold separately).

No underarm seams for easier arm movements and to prevent irritation. Pre-shaped cut on the arms and legs, with back arch for easier movements.

Resistance to rubbing

Ergonomic supratex reinforcements at the knees, buttocks, and soles of the feet,

and on the shoulders and lower back. These reinforcements reduce the effects of friction to reduce wear of the suit. The interior seams are ended with patches to make them stronger. The GBS seams use nylon thread rather than polyester for greater durability.

System to keep a dive computer in place on both arms.

What is a dry suit?

A watertight dry suit provides complete insulation. The construction of the dry suit is completely watertight: seams, zip and seals.

When you put on the dry suit, air is trapped inside and is compressed to create a suction effect. To compensate for this effect, you need to add air using the chest valve during descent and release air during ascent using the valve on the biceps.

Tips on how to take care of your diving suit

1) Soak the outside of the dry suit in clean water after each session.

2) Clean with a bactericide solution.

3) Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

4) Dry the right way up on a wide hanger. Caution: the sun will cause the colours of the textile parts of the diving suit to fade and speeds up the ageing process of the neoprene.

Zips can be cleaned with a toothbrush and lubricated with silicone grease.

Certification

This scuba diving suit has been tested by the independent INPP institute (Marseille, France) to check it complies with the current standard (EN 14225-2:2017).
