WHAT MOI 10K MEANS FOR GOLFERS
In its simplest terms, a high MOI = more forgiveness. A high MOI reduces the rotation of the club head during off-centre impacts, thus protecting the ball speed during bad shots and offering more even launching conditions. This is measurable forgiveness. The Qi10 Max driver delivers a total combined MOI of 10,000 g/cm2 (10K), prowess which is the result of advanced lightweight materials, a reinvented head shape, ad strategic mass placement.
Advanced construction with the Infinity Crown
TaylorMade's advanced construction techniques enable strategic mass redistribution, allowing for a low and deep centre of gravity (CG) for optimal launches and control over effects, whilst retaining a high MOI. The new crown covers 97% of the top surface, creating a clean and elegant look.
Optimised head shape
The Qi10 Max has a head shape that's less deep, extending from the front to back, with a concentrated mass at the extreme limit of the CG. This unique head shape significantly helps the inertia of the club head, whilst allowing for the weight to be placed further from the centre of the head.
Carbon face technology
The Qi10 Max uses third-generation 60X Carbon Twist Face®, offering a quick face on well-centred shots, whilst preserving the ball speed on bad shots. This technology works alongside a redesigned edge, which houses the face in a position that yields in unison, to effectively optimise the energy transfer upon impact.
Torque-Control Shaft
TaylorMade's in-depth research and testing have resulted in the development of a shaft with a lower torque, promoting better face closing upon impact. This innovation is the latest step in the quest for MOI 10K with TaylorMade's performance.
