What is tubeless ready?
A tubeless ready tyre for riding without an inner tube. Specific beads for a good seal and tight fit against the rim. Like with tubeless ready rims, the sidewalls of a tubeless ready tyre aren't sealed, which is why it's essential to add sealant when fitting them. The sealant has two roles: as well as sealing the tyre, it also acts as puncture protection.
For fewer punctures, go tubeless!
If you're going to mount this tyre on a tubeless ready wheel, we strongly recommend doing so without an inner tube, because tubeless ready tyres have been designed to be used with sealant. This will give the tyre double protection: the "Hardskin" band blocks punctures, and the sealant plugs any small holes.
And as a bonus, it's lighter and more comfortable!
Tools needed for mounting tubeless tyres.
- Tubeless valve
- Tubeless rim tape
- Sealant
- A tubeless ready compatible rim
- A foot pump or air compressor

Inflating your tyre
Carefully inflate your tyre. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tyre's sidewall and on the product description.
Before every ride, you should check that the tyres are aired up to a proper pressure.
Tips from a Pro
Be sure to inflate your tyre to the right pressure for the terrain and, most importantly, the weather.
In rainy weather, decrease the tyre pressure to increase your traction.
Similarly, you can increase your tyre pressure in dry weather.
Measuring tyre wear
To measure wear on your road tyres and know when they need to be changed, you need to pay special attention to the tread. Signs of wear are:
- the tread starts to fray,
- small cracks appear on the tyre,
- the tread starts looking flat,
- the casing is visible.
Tyres wear in many different ways and often require replacement.
