We have laboratory tested this cooler at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs and half full. It took 5 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 15°C.
By adding 1.33 kg of ice, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C increased to 9 hours in the same conditions.

Directions for use
We use polystyrene to insulate the body of the cooler and to slow down the warming of the food and drinks in your cooler.
This is passive preservation and doesn’t keep food frozen.
To improve the performance and freshness time, we advise you to add several ice packs, making a total of 1.5 kg.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
The European standard EN 12546-2 certifies the performance of the cool bag without ice packs. To obtain this standard, tests are carried out by an external laboratory. These tests consist of placing water at a temperature of 5°C into the cooler, which itself is placed in an environment of 32°C. The point is to then measure the time the water takes to reach a temperature of 15°C. For this cooler, the time measured is 5 hours.
