Who is this padel racket for?
The Adidas Adipower Multiweight Ctrl 3.3 2024 is designed for regular padel players who compete at a high level and have a control-oriented playing style.
Balance: low (handle-heavy), 265 mm
This is the racket balance point, measured in millimetres from the bottom of the racket handle.
The larger the number (head-heavy balance), the more power and stability you'll get from the racket and the heavier it will feel (even if it's not a heavy racket). However, you'll have to give up some manoeuvrability. The smaller the number (grip biased or handle heavy), the easier the racket will be to handle, but the less power and stability you'll get.
Weight: 355-365 g
The weight is measured in grams. Just like the balance point, the weight impacts a racket's swingweight and therefore its manoeuvrability, stability and ability to transfer energy to the ball (power). The heavier the racket, the more power you'll get, but the harder it will be to handle. Conversely, the lighter the racket, the easier it will be to handle, but the less powerful it will be.
WEIGHT & BALANCE SYSTEM
Adapt your racket to all your movements. This removable weight system allows you to adjust the racket's balance and total weight, offering a multitude of different options in a single handle. The distribution of weight on the frame, both on the sides and the top, gives the racket greater control or allows it to reach its maximum power, depending on the distribution.
DUAL EXOSKELETON
To deploy maximum power, the racket needs to be as stiff as possible, in all circumstances. This technology involves great reinforcement based on a double carbon fibre insert in two key areas, the core and frame of the racket.
SPIN BLADE DECAL
This technology covers the sides of the racket with a rough surface with great grip. There is total friction with the ball, so that you can put spin on the ball with startling ease.
HIGH MEMORY EVA
High-quality hybrid foam with shape memory for a feeling of speed on release and comfort in play, but also a certain control when the intensity increases.
POWER EMBOSSED RIDGE
The carbon at the outside of the frame considerably increases resistance to flexion during the most powerful impacts.
