Further information on our Van Rysel balance bike
This balance bike has been designed to enable children who love to ride to have fun on the flat as well as on pump track, or during short races.
The position and components have been designed to enable the child to go faster than with a conventional balance bike.
A real little racer in the colours of the professional racers' bikes.
LIGHT AS A FEATHER
Our Runride Racing balance bike weighs 3.3 kg. This top-of-the-range model is incredibly light and has real wheels (hub, spokes, rubber tyres, 12"). The aluminium parts (frame, handlebar and fork) make the entire thing really light, giving it the best balance between weight and efficiency. The only risk with this balance bike is that you'll struggle to keep up with your budding mini cyclist!
12" WHEELS
For riding just like the grown-ups on all types of terrain, we have opted for wheels equipped with real rubber hybrid tyres with an inner tube to ensure grip and shock absorption.
The 12" wheel size helps to feel better prepared for riding over obstacles.
Parents haven't been left out: the angled valve gives you easy access when inflating it.
WHY IS THE BEARING QUALITY IMPORTANT?
The principle of the balance bike is for kids to propel themselves along and use this motion to learn to balance. The bearing quality is important as it's what allows kids to pick up enough momentum to lift their feet and find their balance.
To help kids pick up speed, the spoked wheels are equipped with an aluminium hub (just like on big bikes). Get ready for some real workouts with your budding rider!
Adjustment range: a detail that makes the difference
We've done everything we can to make this balance bike fit your child for as long as possible by giving it a saddle that adjusts in height by 9.5 cm. Min saddle height: 34 cm / max 41 cm.
The handlebar can also be adjusted by 2 cm in height.
Does it need tools?
We also took parents' needs on board. The height of the saddle can be adjusted without tools thanks to the "quick release" system.
Tool kit for wheels and handlebar/stem assembly included.
How to ride safely
Toys should not be used on public roads. When learning to cycle, kids should stay on the pavement. And for safety reasons, protective equipment (helmet and pads) is strongly recommended.
Do you want to repair or look after your balance bike?
Did you know that aluminium does not corrode, unlike steel? It's a guarantee of durability!
We offer a full range of spare parts for 10 years so that you can keep enjoying your products for longer.
