TRUSSTIC
Additional support. Soft component under the midfoot (across the outsole) to control rotation and twisting when your foot is in contact with the ground. This technology stabilises your stride for natural and efficient movement.
Pivot Point
Padel is a sport that requires constant changes of direction, which is why Asics chose to incorporate a pivot point in its shoes to make foot rotation easier. It is a circular piece at the front of the foot.
GEL technology
The strategically placed gel at the front and back of the foot reduces impacts (at the heel) for a smoother stride. The gel at the forefoot also reduces impacts when moving forward. The main benefits of this technology are: Comfort, stability and cushioning.
EVA technology
Soft foam in the midsole offers excellent shock absorption and comfort.
Sole design: Herringbone sole
The sole features a hybrid tread pattern. One (at the heel) features a herringbone design to give you the traction you need on the court. The other (at the forefoot and toe) is a larger herringbone pattern to make moving around easier.
How to choose your padel shoes
Padel shoes can make a big impact on performance. When choosing yours, you'll want to consider the following details: comfort (foot length and shoe size, materials, etc.); cushioning (technologies that provide good cushioning, such as Asics Gel); stability (laces, fabric at the ankle to keep your foot from slipping); traction (robust outsole); and durability.
