Assembly & wear:
Check that the snap hooks are correctly positioned.
If they aren't, they could wear out or damage the metal frame or the eyelets holding your cables.
Snap hooks are pulled and rubbed frequently, so it's normal to change them.
How often you do so will depend on how often you use your equipment and also the load you're lifting.
Don't wait for signs of wear before changing them.
