How to apply:
Before applying, test the product on a small area of skin to ensure that your horse does not have an allergic reaction (made with essential oils).
Wash hands before and after use. Rinse off the horse's limbs to remove dirt. Check that there are no wounds. Apply the clay in a thick layer (about 1 cm) against the direction of hair growth and leave on uncovered for one to two hours before rinsing off. Once the clay is dry, it no longer has any effect.
Precautions for use:
Contains mint oil and menthol (which have properties that may be equated with doping substances). Even if their detection depends on the amount applied, and this is unlikely to occur, it's best to stop use of the product 72 hours before any official event.
Composition
INGREDIENTS: Ilite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Aqua, Glycerin, Potassium sorbate, Menthol, Mentha arvensis leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus oil
Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite: green clay => supports the horse's recovery
Aqua: water
Glycerin: plant-based glycerin => moisturises and prevents the paste from drying out
Potassium sorbate: preservative
Menthol, Mentha arvensis leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus oil: menthol, mint and eucalyptus oils => provide a cooling effect
How long should you leave the clay on?
It all depends on how thickly you apply the clay and how quickly it dries. Once the clay is dry (around 2 hours), it no longer has any effect. We suggest letting the clay dry uncovered on your horse.
To remove the clay, you can rinse or brush it off.
