Why use grips?
These gymnastics grips help you grasp the apparatus without straining your forearms. We strongly recommend using them in addition to a terrycloth wristband, which you can wear underneath the grips.
Choosing your grip size
Step one: measure your hand size.
Start your measurement at the base of the palm and go up to the first knuckle of your middle finger.
This model is only available in sizes 2 and 3.
≤ 15.2 cm = Size 2
≤ 16 cm = Size 3
The first time you use them
If the finger holes are too tight, you can sand them to make them bigger. But don't use scissors!
Since this leather is thicker than on our Grips 500, it'll take more time for it to become flexible and adapt to your hands.
How to clean your gymnastics grips
To make your grips more robust, you'll need to take good care of them. Because they're made from leather, they shouldn't be washed in water. Remember to wipe off any excess chalk after each training session. You can then put them away in a drawstring bag. We recommend keeping them in their own bag and washing this bag regularly.
Tip from the design team
These Grips 900 are not intended for beginner gymnasts. As the leather is thicker, it is also harder. It'll take more time for it to become flexible and adapt to your hands.
