How to install the 10 L Compact Sink
3 possibilities:
- Placed on a table: it’s free-standing;
- Hung up: attach the plastic hooks of the 2 adjustable straps to the 4 corners of the sink;
- Vehicle attachment: use the 2 metal hooks (bodywork protection);
- Around a tree: use the 3rd strap to run around the tree. Adjust, then attach the plastic hooks to the 2 strap buckles on the tree. A third buckle lets you attach the flexible jerrycan or head of the pressure shower.
How to use the 10 L Compact Sink
The upper container lets you wash dishes, fruit, hands, teeth...
The plug is used to manage water consumption (e.g.: wash the dishes before rinsing). It has an anti-return valve to prevent grey water from rising back up.
The 2 mesh pockets let you store accessories (sponge, soap, toothbrush, etc.) or dry the dishes.
By opening the zip fully, you can use the sink as a large bowl.
How to empty the 10 L Compact Sink
The zip isn’t watertight. Be careful when carrying to empty out the grey water. Check that you haven’t exceeded the 10 L limit. Markings are located on the inside to indicate the water level.
To empty the tank of grey water: partially open the zip, use a sink corner to empty the grey water in an authorised location to avoid harming nature.
How to look after the 10 L Compact Sink
When you want to clean your sink:
- Open the zip;
- Clean all surfaces with a sponge and soap;
- Leave it to air dry before storing it away or putting it to one side.
What is the resistance to hot water of the 10 L Compact Sink?
This sink is resistant to hot water up to a temperature of 50°C max.
