Selection of our nubuck leather
Leather is a living material. When it is sorted, a selection is made in order to find the best possible uniformity of its grain texture and thickness.
Our European leather is tanned by specialists in Portugal and has been manufactured by the same supplier in Portugal for over 20 years.
Leather care
After sailing, we advise you to:
- Allow to dry away from heat sources
- On dry leather, brush vigorously with a soft brush, a sponge or a leather rubber to remove mud and dirt
- If stains remain, clean with a damp sponge and a little warm water
- Allow to dry
- Spray with a water repellent or waterproofing agent: this allows water to slide off the leather to prevent staining
What makes this shoe robust?
Through the choice of materials and the construction of the shoe, this product is designed for robustness.
We've taken great care in selecting the leather, adding suppleness for better comfort and resistance and guaranteeing a good life span for the product.
The side seam allows for the upper to be joined to the sole, making the shoe very robust.
The brass eyelets don't oxidise in sea water.
