Choosing your size
3 sizes available: Size S: 1.50 m to 1.65 m.
Size M: 1.66 m to 1.77 m.
Size L: 1.78 m to 1.89 m.
If you are on the edge between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for greater comfort (straighter back).
Choose the larger size for a more stretched out position (better suited to speed).
If you're over 1.90 m tall, we advise trying the size L in store or going for the size XL in the high step through version.
0, 1, 2 or 3: choosing your assistance mode
Mode 0 – Assistance disabled.
Mode 1 - Gentle assistance at up to 25 km/h that means you can forget about the weight of the bike - battery life of around 100 km under normal conditions.
Mode 2 - Moderate assistance at up to 25 km/h - battery life of around 90 km under normal conditions.
Mode 3 - Boost assistance at up to 25 km/h for the most difficult ascents.
Battery life varies depending on the weight being transported (user + load), hills and the temperature outside.
Motor
The 36-volt brushless rear wheel motor has 250 Watts of power for a maximum torque of 42 Nm.
For example:
In mode 1, the motor increases your power by +90%, so if you pedal 100 W, the motor adds 90 W.
In mode 2, the motor increases your power by +150%, so if you pedal 100 W, the motor adds 150 W.
In mode 3, the motor increases your power by +220%, so if you pedal 100 W, the motor adds 220 W.
Battery
Batteries with 36 V 15 Ah (500 Wh) LG or Samsung lithium-ion cells and a locking system that prevents any vibrations to the battery as you ride.

CONTROL SCREEN

What is the assistance sensor?
A simple, clever system: the more you pedal, the more assistance is provided. You are in control of your speed and acceleration.
For those in the know, we're talking about the torque sensor fitted to the bottom bracket.
A frame designed for ease of use, less weight and more comfort
Our engineers have designed the unisex frame of the RS 520E electric hybrid bike out of 6061 aluminium to make it lightweight and robust. Its lowered geometry makes it easy to climb onto, keeping both men and women comfortable.
You can also customise the frame as you like using the bottle cage and pannier rack holes.
The removable derailleur hanger can be changed if needed.

Derailleurs and drive train
Quickly and easily change between the 8 speeds using the shifter on the handlebars.

Hybrid tyres
Comfortable, versatile, reinforced tyres from the brand CST Tirent so you can go anywhere.
Puncture protection.
The recommended pressure is between 4 and 5 bars (details on tyre sidewall).

28" double-walled wheels
Head off on tours with the Riverside 520 E equipped with black double-walled aluminium wheels.
To transport your bike, the quick-release on the front wheel makes it easy to remove.
28-spoke front wheel and 36-spoke rear wheel.
Rear wheel nut can be removed with an 8mm Allen key. (Compatible with B'Twin 900 multitool).
Wheel diameter = 28 inches (21-622).
Hydraulic disc brakes
Cycle safely on any terrain (dry/wet) thanks to the Tektro TKD 160 mm-diameter hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear.
Hydraulic brakes provide more precise braking as well as greater comfort using the brake levers.

Lighting
The Riverside 520E has built-in lights that are powered by the battery.
The front headlight is fixed to the fork and the rear light is under the saddle.
The cables are routed through the frame and seat post.
It has a powerful 20 lux LED light that has a wide beam of light.
The lights are controlled on the handlebars via the control screen.
Crank / Pedals
The Riverside 500 electric bike is supplied with versatile plastic single-piece pedals with a wide pedalling surface to keep the foot on the pedal.

Your Riverside 500 E is supplied with a bell, lights (front/rear), wheel reflectors and pedals.
