EXPERIENCE
"This ski is truly able to help young skiers progress. Its deeper sidecut makes it easier to complete turns".
STRUCTURE
Polyurethane-injected skis, for a lighter weight and easier progression.
BINDINGS
The Tyrolia SRM 4.5 binding Din 0.75 to 4.5. fits A (adult) or C (child) type boots. Quick adjustment of the length of the sole with a single click on the heel so that the ski can fit the different boot sizes. Very easy to carry out, we recommend that you have this done in our workshop. Skis 97cm / 107cm => boots between 200mm and 260mm. Skis in 117cm => boots between 220 mm and 270 mm.
STRENGTH
Plastic tip end and reinforced topsheet. White colour for greater scratch resistance.
PREPARATION
Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89°.
What is the rocker?
When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the tip and heel, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised (the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the greater the traction and more responsive the ski. The lower, the more tolerant and manageable it is.
WHAT IS A ROCKER?
On a "rocker" ski, the tip, and sometimes the tail, comes off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski: this has the effect of moving the contact points toward the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is shortened and offers manoeuvrability and floatability in soft snow. When taking corners, the edge length provides more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the better the handling of the ski. The shorter, the more attacking the ski.
