Fresh & Black technology for a cooler, darker tent:
Cooler and darker for better sleep!
Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that reflects the sun's rays and insulate the light through specific materials.
This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker.
To get the most out of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!
Sun protection and ventilation
Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.
Inside each bedroom is a large, low ventilation hatch.
The living room is equipped with 4 mosquito net windows with blinds.
Wind resistant
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 8, measured at 70 km/h.
Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).
Waterproof and taped seams
We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a 5000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.
Usage restrictions
Respect the rules of the road; Drive the vehicle with great care with the towbar fitted, this may require some practice.
Drive only on drivable roads.
Ensure that the vehicle is authorised to tow a trailer with a GVW equal to 500 kg.
Ensure that the driver and their vehicle are insured, including when the latter is equipped with a towbar.
Do not drive with the tent up.
Usage restrictions (CONTINUED)
Pay attention to the various signage on the product; some operations may seem difficult, even impossible or even entail a danger (entanglement of fingers) if the instructions provided in the manuals are not fully complied with.
Respect the total weight authorised for the trailer load; do not add more than 70 kg to the trailer, in addition to the initial load.
In the event of an accident, injury or breakdown: contact the emergency services.
Repair
As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That is why our trailer tent is designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs of inflatable arches are possible, please contact the workshop of your Decathlon store.
Poles and tent pegs
Inflatable poles - All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600 denier* polyester cover. Living room and bedrooms reinforcement - 3 aluminium bars to the living room and bedrooms to stiffen the structure
Pegs - All of our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6mm.
34 ground pegs are included.
*600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length
Maintenance advice
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it's important to store it when not in use.
