Why are our straps sold separately?
Thanks to your feedback on our products over the years, we now offer you straps on our trousers. We sell them separately so they are available only to those that need them and this reduces our environmental impact.

How to adjust my straps?
On first use, attach the straps to your trousers when you’re not wearing them as this will make it easier.
The straps have 3 parts in a Y shape. The two longer parts attach to the front of the trousers in the loops intended for this purpose. Put the end of the strap through the loop and attach using the Velcro.
The right setting for the straps is the one that puts slight pressure on the shoulders
What materials are used to make my straps?
The main component is dyed using the dope dye process. The elastic is made from up to 92% recycled material
What is Dope Dyeing?
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we opted for a bulk dyeing process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is being produced.
Repairs
This product is repairable. We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. Whatever it is, fixings, seams, etc. This service is offered in your usual store. However, if we can't repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.

Test product
All Wedze products are conceived, designed and developed in the Mont Blanc Valley. They are then tested under the same conditions as you would experience in real-life use (snow, cold, powder snow, etc). The design teams make sure that the programme for which the product is designed and developed corresponds perfectly to its use in the field.

We’ve examined the environmental footprint of this product in order to identify how we can produce it in a more sustainable way. With this knowledge, our design teams were able to develop this product while significantly reducing its environmental impact.

10% of the fabric is not dyed
The greige means that the fabric is not dyed. The colour is in its natural state. Dyeing being one of the steps that has the biggest environmental impact.

28% of the fabric color is made by dyeing the yarn at the source
Dyeing textiles requires lots of water but also leads to lots of water waste generated in dyeing vats. To reduce this environmental impact, we choose solution dyeing, which integrates colour pigments when manufacturing the thread.

MaterialRecycled polyester
Textile part made of 39% recycled polyester
We have incorporated recycled polyester into this product (instead of conventional polyester, which is itself derived from petrochemical plastic). What does this mean? In addition to being technical, this product has been designed taking into account its environmental impact: using recycled polyester means recovering and transforming products destined to be thrown away, such as production offcuts or plastic bottles, instead of using new oil resources.
