Why use protein powder
There are three macronutrients: protein, fat and carbohydrates. They provide, among other things, energy to your body through calories.
Carbohydrates are the body's primary energy source and are the
perfect fuel for exercising.
Protein, another macronutrient, is essential for
building muscle mass and the proper functioning of your body.
Protein powder can supplement your daily nutritional needs.
How to prepare whey protein
- Mix 150 ml of water with two heaping scoops of whey protein (30 g) in a shaker with a sieve.
- Shake for 30 seconds and enjoy.
- Add more or less water to taste (and preferred texture).
- Drink your shake within an hour of mixing it
For a creamier shake, you can mix your whey protein with 150 ml of animal or plant milk.
What is whey protein and why should you take it?
- Whey protein is a milk-based protein.
- Whey protein is quickly assimilated by the body and stimulates your anabolic metabolism (muscle building), which makes it perfect for recovery.
- Each serving provides 21 g of protein and 5.2 g of BCAAs to help you reach your goals
- This new whey protein is made in France
- Includes flavouring and a sweetener derived from stevia, a South American plant
Can women also take whey protein?
Of course! Whey protein is perfectly suitable for women who want to take it as part of their sports activity to:
- Transform their body by losing fat and gaining muscle, because whey protein helps limit muscle loss (due to muscle catabolism),
- Reach their sports objectives
- Limit overall fatigue
Protein flavour and our short, easy shake recipe
We worked hard to create a protein with a balanced flavour and long finish.
If you're used to artificially flavoured protein powders, our new whey protein may seem lighter at first.
To boost the taste, you can adjust how much water and powder you use. For example, 50 ml of water can make a big difference in the taste and texture.
After conducting tests, we recommend adding 150 ml of water per shaker.
