A SHOE DESIGNED FOR THE DISCOVERY OF AND INITIATION TO TRAIL RUNNING WITH PEACE OF MIND
Given the specific of our needs when starting a new discipline, every aspect of this shoe was specially designed to facilitate your foot motion so you always look forward to getting these shoes on!
Providing an excellent compromise between cushioning, traction, and grip as well as a design that allows the foot to flex, the Easytrail is also versatile and adapts equally well to footpaths, trails with minor technical difficulties and road sections.
COMFORT, SUPPORT AND PROTECTION:
THANKS TO THIS COMBINATION, YOU WILL WANT TO PUT ON YOUR TRAINERS AGAIN AND AGAIN!
The shoe's comfort comes from the large cozy foam pad at the collar, as well as the main stretch 2D mesh component that delivers flexibility, stretch and freedom of movement at the forefoot.
As for the synthetic sections on the sides, they provide excellent support and stabilise your foot.
Finally, the stone guards protect your toes from stones and the mesh sections resist against tearing.
FOCUS ON THE CUSHIONING OF THE EASYTRAIL
Our design team designed an entirely new 100% EVA injection-moulded foam used in the midsole.
Developed with the help of novice trail runners, it is comfortable and forgiving during your running stride, so that you can discover trail running with plenty of comfort.
And since trail running is characterised by the variety of different surfaces covered in particular, this foam padding, 21 mm thick at the heel and 13 mm thick at the forefoot, delivers excellent cushioning on roads and on trails.
GRIP AND TRACTION.TRUST YOUR FEET!
Furnished with 4 mm lugs designed to provide excellent traction and a new rubber material, the outsole of the Easytrail delivers an ideal compromise between traction and grip.
Thanks to its versatility, it is good for exploring trails with peace of mind and adapts to road sections while remaining comfortable.
In short, when you know that the traction and grip both contribute to a reassuring footing with the Easytrail, you can therefore trust in your feet!
FLEX-H AND BEVELLED HEEL TECHNOLOGY TO FACILITATE THE FOOT MOTION
We have added a set of flex grooves to the forefoot of the Easytrail:
the Flex-H technology. Given that the metatarsophalangeal joint is both the flex zone and the main contact point of the foot during the propulsion phase, these flex grooves are arranged in the shape of the letter H located to either side of this joint, thereby facilitating the foot motion while ensuring your comfort. Finally, the bevelled heel of this shoe also optimises and facilitates the foot motion.
WHY A DROP OF 8 MM?
The drop is the height difference between the front and rear of the shoe. Given that the entirely new 100% injection-moulded EVA foam used in the midsole is 21 mm thick at the heel and 13 mm thick at the forefoot, the Easytrail therefore has a drop of 8 mm.
We made this choice because it is a medium drop that suits mosts runners, and is therfore perfect for discovering trail running.
EASYTRAIL, FOR AN 'EASY' PRACTICE...
What's the point of putting all the chances on your side to enjoy trail running if your pair of shoes won't allow you to do it over the long term?
Moreover, so that you can properly make the most of the Easytrail, we added a highly stretch 2D mesh that is resistant to abrasion, dust and mud. Finally, the stone guard at the front and rear protects this mesh from tearing caused by loose stones or your big toe.
THE EASYTRAIL:AS PLEASANT TO WEAR AS IT IS TO LOOK AT
Pierrick, our designer, carefully designed these shoes, so that they live and breathe trail running. With modern lines and precise and subtle technical finishes, this shoe has the outdoors in its DNA. Whether it is the two-tone mesh fabric, the midsole with textured graphics inspired by Ordnance Survey maps, the three-colour laces or even the choice of different textures on the sections, nothing has been left to chance!
A FINAL DETAIL (AND A GOOD ONE AT THAT): THE ELASTIC FOR STORING LACES!
We added an elastic to the Easytrail located on the tongue for storing your laces.
By preventing your laces from catching in branches or any other external element that could hinder your progress, you can take full advantage of your endurance outings while minimising any issues and having the right equipment!
OUR ADVICE BEFORE GOING ON A RUN
Here is some advice from Manon, our product engineer, and Cyrille, our product manager, before you put on your shoes and go for a run:
The most important thing is that you enjoy your trail runs.
Take things gradually so you don't cut any corners – maintaining a regular training regime is the right option. Don't forget to enjoy the scenery and locations where you are running!
