No compromise on your safety with RECCO®
These snowboarding salopettes are equipped with the RECCO® system.
With RECCO® technology, you can be located in the event of an avalanche. Someone who is equipped with RECCO® reflectors and is buried in the snow can be quickly and accurately located by the emergency services using the RECCO® tracker. RECCO® reflectors are not a substitute for an AVD. The RECCO® technology works as a complementary measure, increasing the chances of being found in time.

How can I be sure of the strength and durability of my Decathlon ski trousers?
Our snowboard trousers are guaranteed for 5 years. We offer repairs locally if your trousers are damaged. Contact us on our website to find out more about how to get your product repaired.
We take particular care in choosing all the elements and assembly processes that make up our ski and snowboard trousers so they are as durable as possible.
Versatile and clever product.
These salopettes were designed and co-created by and for snowboarding enthusiasts. The product adapts to the length of your legs thanks to an elastic system hidden in the pockets. If your boots have a dial tightening system (BOA and other brands), there is easy access to the tightening system without having to remove your gaiters. A 360° zip at the hips means you can put them on without having to take everything off.
Can I be sure my women's salopettes will protect me well in bad weather?
To withstand bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.), these women's snowboard salopettes have been designed with a waterproof component and assembly processes that keep the water out and reduce wind chill. We have spent a few days snowboarding and carried out tests over long periods, in all conditions, to validate the waterproofing of the product.
Why is water-repellency needed for my salopettes?
The water-repellent feature makes water run off the fabric without seeping in thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 to 3 washes on average, using the products available in our stores. All the waterproof trousers that we design for snowboarders are water-repellent.
Water often gets in through the seams. Do my salopettes have waterproof seams?
As well as the waterproof fabric, we enhance the waterproofing of the salopettes with taped seams. These are heat-bonded waterproof strips placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. All seams are taped on the entire skiing outfit?
What is a membrane and what's it for?
A membrane is an extremely thin component (between 5 and 25 micrometres) applied to the internal surface of a textile substrate to give it excellent waterproof and breathable capabilities. Our membrane components stop water getting inside while allowing the water vapour generated by your body to pass through, when snowboarding.
How will my salopettes keep me warm?
To keep you warm, we use a brushed fleece lining. The BIB 900 salopettes also come with WARM SEAT technology which improves the insulation on the seat by 54% when sitting in the snow. We have chosen not to use wadding in the product so that you can manage your heat as you like during split sessions, for example.
How should I dress to avoid getting cold in the mountains?
To keep your legs warm and dry, 2 layers of clothing are enough:
- 1 ski base layer to wick away perspiration.
- 1 ski trouser to protect against bad weather and provide warmth.
How can I stop snow from getting in my salopettes?
Our salopettes and trousers have elasticated gaiters which can be adjusted around the boots. If you fall or are in fresh snow, the seal keeps the snow out.
How do I wash my salopettes?
To optimise the performance and durability of your trousers, we recommend:
* Machine wash at 30°, synthetic programme.
* Turn the product inside out.
* Add a small amount of detergent. No softener.
* We recommend you wring it by hand.
* Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place.
Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator.
You can restore the water resistance of the outer fabric using a fabric waterproofing spray. Read the care label.
