Pitching and striking the tent
This tent has a classic dome structure.
Simply install the hoops with the room, then lay the flysheet over the whole thing by hanging the loops in the corners on the ground (red for red, green for green). Finally, set up the red summit pole.
To strike the tent, the process is the same, but in reverse.
Mattress compatibility
Recommended tent with a self-inflating mattress or trekking mattress up to 70 cm wide.
We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses, that are more than 8 cm thick, in this tent.
Indeed, this greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation inside.
Ventilation of the tent
For maximum ventilation, a large part of the room is made of mesh and includes 2 openable vents on the upper part of the doors. The flysheet is very easy to remove for sleeping under the stars on summer nights.
Waterproofing of the tent
All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee the waterproofing.
To do this, we put the entire tent under a 200 L/h shower for 3 hours.
The flysheet and the groundsheet are in 2000mm-rated PU-coated polyester and all the seams are sealed with heat-sealed strips.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 30 km/h measured near ground level (Force 4).
