Weight
The low weight (270 g) makes it easier to swing the racket
The impact of the racket weight should always be considered along with the balance to assess manoeuvrability
Balance
The 35 cm balance makes it easier to swing the racket for a good amount of power
- Grip-biased balance: <32 cm
- Even balance: 32 cm to 33 cm
- Head-heavy balance: >34 cm
Head size
The very large head size (740 cm²) creates a larger sweetspot. This means it's easier to hit a good shot even if your centring is off. This makes the racket more forgiving.
The different head sizes:
- Midsize – small head size: < 625 cm²
- Mid plus – standard head size: 626 - 677 cm²
- Oversize – large head size: 678 – 742 cm²
- Super oversize – very large head size: > 742 cm²
RA
The Graphite/Aluminium give the FTR100 a stiffness rating of 68 RA, which helps it return more energy.
As a guide:
- Stiff frame: > 64 – 66 RA
- Flexible frame: < 64 – 66 RA.
Inertia
The weight (270 g) and balance (35 cm) give the FTR100 the lowest swingweight in the range. The racket will feel easier to swing.
Length
68.7 cm - standard tennis racket length.
