Find out more about your BT 500's felt and pockets
The felt is grey to better match your interior and is not replaceable. It is a slow surface. The baulk line and spot (for the 8 ball) are marked on the felt according to the official rules so that it's easy to set up for your match.
The net pockets can hold up to 5 pool balls (44 mm diameter). They have an 8 cm opening and are 7 cm deep.
More details about your table
This pool table is practical, mobile, and looks perfectly at home in your home, no matter how it's decorated!
It takes just minutes to fold, unfold or tidy away your table. Say goodbye to the idea of a table taking up space!
It has "sights" - little white dots on the frame - to help you properly angle shots against the cushions.
Pack dimensions and weight
Your BT 500 table comes unassembled in a protective cardboard box measuring 145 cm x 80 cm x 15 cm, and 165 cm diagonally. The total weight of the pack is 39 kg.
A closer look at your table's legs
Your BT 500 pool table is equipped with castor wheels so that you can easily roll it from one room to another. But don't worry: it won't move during play as the castors have brakes!
You'll also find leg levellers on your table's front legs so that you can adjust the height and make sure it's completely flat during matches.
How to fold and unfold your BT 500 table
You only need 3 minutes to unfold your BT500 table:
- Unscrew and remove the adjusting wheel on each side of the table.
- Pull the top of the table towards you into a horizontal position. - Bring out the second table leg at the same time.
- Tighten the adjusting wheels (2 on each side) so that the legs remain stable.
To fold up your table, just do the opposite. And it's easy to know which side to fold: the angled foot stays still while the right foot is retractable.
How much space do you need to play?
For a good game, you need to be at ease in your movements, and that means having enough space.
As well as allowing enough room around your table for the length of your cue (122 cm), make sure there's an extra 5 cm for your warm-up strokes.
In other words, to enjoy your BT500 US table to the full, you'll need a space measuring at least 15 m².
Are you learning to play pool? OUR TEAM HAS SOME TIPS FOR STARTING OUT
Contrary to popular belief, pool is actually a sport! And an accuracy sport at that.
Take your time to find a stable stance so that you are comfortable and capable of reproducing the same accurate movement.
Rather than relying on chance, try to be accurate and think tactically.
Makes sense? Visualising your shots and warming up each stroke is better than just shooting at the pack and hoping for the best :)
Marbles or balls? HOLES OR POCKETS? HERE IS SOME POOL VOCABULARY.
If you ever hear the term "holes" in reference to pool, that isn't the right word for the sport!
That's right! If you want to start playing pool, you'll need to put balls in the pockets (not the holes).
But how? By shooting the white ball with a cue. Here we talk about a cue, rather than a stick.
Who do we work with?
We work in collaboration with the French pool federation. Our pool tables are used and put through their paces not only by clubs but also by schools to develop the sport at all levels.
