Stops snow from getting inside
This snowboarding jacket is designed to reduce snow ingress:
_ on the back: snowskirt + long cut that enables you to sit on it,
_on the cuffs (very exposed area): long sleeves + cuffs with thumb holes to stop snow from entering,
_ at the neck: collar with a gusset that goes up high/hood with a rip-tab to keep it rolled up in the upper position, and protect the neck
The hood also fits over a helmet.
Warmth
For warmth, this jacket has 2 different fillings to perfectly meet the need for heat:
_ 150 g/m² for the body, with a fleece lining,
_ 100 g/m² on the sleeves.
Waterproofing
As well as the waterproof fabric, we enhance the waterproofing of the snowboard 500 jacket with taped seams. These are heat-bonded waterproof strips placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. This product has 100% taped seams.
What is the water repellent feature of my jacket for?
The water-repellent feature makes water run off the fabric without seeping in thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. The fabric does not soak up water and stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the life of the product, after 2 to 3 washes on average, using products available in our stores. All the waterproof jackets that we design for snowboarders are water repellent.
5 pockets
This snowboard jacket is designed for regular snowboarding, so it has all the pockets required:
_ 2 side pockets secured with a zip fastening,
_ 1 outer chest pockets secured with a zip fastening,
_ 1 inside chest pocket secured with a zip fastening, with earphone outlet,
_ 1 ski pass pocket on the left sleeve secured with a zip fastening.
Hood rolled under the helmet
When snowboarding, snow can get in the jacket during a fall. To limit this unpleasant experience, the collar and hood were designed together.
So that the hood can be used as a scarf and keep the snow out, fold the hood in 4 and velcro it so that it stays up and fills the gap under the helmet.
The collar must be closed normally, up to the top to keep everything tight.
Hood over the helmet
The hood of this jacket is designed to fit over a helmet, in case of strong winds, heavy snowfall, etc.
In this position, open the collar of the jacket by about 10 cm, pull the hood over the helmet and simply close the collar with the gusset (rip-tab closure). The gusset creates a well-protected area for the mouth and nose.
How should you dress your kids to ensure they don't get cold on the slopes?
To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:
- Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
- Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.
- Layer 3 or a protective layer to protect against the elements.
How can I be sure about the durability of my jacket?
Our snowboard jackets are guaranteed for 5 years. We offer repairs locally if your jacket is damaged. Contact us on our website to find out more about how to get your product repaired.
We take particular care in choosing all the elements and assembly processes that make up our ski and snowboard jackets so they are as durable as possible.
Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have taped seams?
In addition to the waterproof fabric, we reinforce the waterproofing of the jacket with taped seams. These are heat-bonded waterproof strips placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. For this product, all seams (100%) are waterproof.
How to wash the jacket?
To optimise your jacket’s performance and durability, we advise the following:
* Machine wash at 30°, synthetic programme.
* Turn the product inside out.
* Add a small amount of detergent. No softener.
* We recommend you wring it by hand.
* Dry on a hanger in a warm, well-ventilated place.
Do not dry clean. Do not place on a radiator.
You can restore the water resistance of the outer fabric using a fabric waterproofing spray. Read the care label.
How do I look after my product?

This product is repairable.
We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. Whatever it is, fixings, seams, zips, etc. This service is offered in your usual store.
However, if we can't repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.
How does my product warranty work?
This product is guaranteed for 5 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by warranty will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects , excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.

Test product
All the Dreamscape snowboard products are tested in the real-life conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow, cold and all the conditions encountered when snowboarding and skiing.
