How and when to inflate the PUMPSLIDE sledge in less than a minute?
To avoid variation in atmospheric pressure, inflate the sledge near where you are going to use it.
Fully unfold the sledge.
Use a pump such as the Quechua 4 litre pump with a built-in pressure gauge. We recommend inflating the inflatable ring to a pressure of 1.5 PSI. To see this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into our website's search engine.
It’s also possible to inflate this sledge by mouth.

What gear do you need for sledging?
We advise the whole family to wear:
- A ski helmet
- Ski goggles
- Ski gloves
- A ski suit or a warm, waterproof ski outfit.
- Warm, waterproof snow boots with good grip.
- A pair of gaiters to stop snow getting in at the ankles.
