Why wear a base layer?
The base layer, also known as the inner layer, helps:
. absorb perspiration and transfer it to the outside. The skin stays dry, so the body doesn't get chilled
. retain body heat more effectively, particularly when the garment is close-fitting
. form an additional barrier against bad weather
. keep the playing jersey (layer 1) dry even when running hard.
Wearing a technical base layer allows you to keep playing for longer.
Composition
This under-jersey top is made from a weave of a polyester thread that helps wick away perspiration, and a polyamide thread for greater softness. These two materials, combined with elastane, ensure excellent comfort.The base layer's piqué knit makes the fabric soft and thick.
Breathability
To keep you dry and regulate your body temperature, Kipsta developed a breathable fabric that increases moisture wicking to the outside.
A special mesh knit is used to ensure greater effectiveness in perspiration areas. The knit quickly wicks away moisture to keep you warm during exercise.
Thermal regulation
The combination of the fabric and technology offers excellent body temperature regulation so you can play hard without getting chilled.

We're always listening to our users, and as a result we've crafted a product that meets the needs of more experienced players. The pace of the game is speeding up. There are greater fluctuations in intensity of play. The clothing they wear must be ultra breathable in order to regulate their body temperature during the most intense phases of play. The base layer must also be close-fitting in order to keep body warmth in and keep the body at the right temperature.
