UNISEX CUT FOR ALL CYCLISTS
The built-in overshoes are guaranteed to protect your shoes in rainy weather and can be folded into the leg of the overtrousers in dry weather.
Remember to properly position the overshoe's elastic behind the heel to ensure a good hold while pedalling.
Our 540 and 900 City Cycling Overtrousers have a specific cut for both men and women.
WHAT TESTS ARE CARRIED OUT TO ENSURE THE WATERPROOFNESS OF THE OVERTROUSERS?
These overtrousers are waterproof thanks to the durability and coating of its fabric and sealed seams. The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is expressed in mm of a water jet (test based on standard ISO 811). Our material is resistant to the pressure from 2,000 mm of water. The finished product is approved in a shower test in the lab, where we recreate the conditions of an average downpour: 60 L water per square metre per hour for 2 hours.
HOW TO ENSURE THE LIFESPAN OF YOUR RAIN OVERTROUSERS
To preserve their waterproofness in the long term, we recommend regularly reactivating the fabric's water repellent property. You can do this every three washes or after a dozen uses in the rain. The trousers' water repellent property can be easily reactivated with heat: put them in your dryer for a short time (about 15 minutes). After washing, be sure to rinse completely.
WHAT MAKES THESE OVERTROUSERS ECO-FRIENDLY?
Dyeing in the mass is used to dye the fibres during the production of the fabric to reduce the environmental impact of the dyeing. It also reduces water consumption and pollution.

COMPONENT BREATHABILITY
Hydrophilic coating (RET = 12): limits condensation inside the garment. To see whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric lets water vapour produced by the body escape, and the more breathable it is.
For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric. 9 < RET < 12 = highly breathable fabric. 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric. RET > 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.

Storage tips
Don't pack the product away when it is still wet as condensation may form and cause unpleasant damp odours. Leave your product to fully dry after use before packing it away.
TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
This garment has passed a shower test of 60 L water / sqm / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the city.The waterproof strips have a life span of 2 years for regular use (around 3 times a week). To keep them in good condition, fully open the rip-tabs at the cuffs of your overtrousers when putting them on to avoid rubbing against your shoes. Also remember to apply a waterproofing spray after washing.

100% of the fabric color is made by dyeing the yarn at the source
Dyeing textiles requires lots of water but also leads to lots of water waste generated in dyeing vats. To reduce this environmental impact, we choose solution dyeing, which integrates colour pigments when manufacturing the thread.
