What are the differences between Nordic walking and hiking?
Nordic walking is performed with special walking poles. These walking poles help propel your action and work your upper body more intensely. Hiking is done with or without walking poles to enable you to hold your position when climbing and avoid slipping when descending.
How to set the height of your child's poles properly
1. Take the poles in your hand and put on the gauntlet: when you are standing up, holding the pole with the end touching the floor, your elbow should form a right angle (90°).
2. Calculate the optimal height of your Nordic walking poles: Your height (cm) x 0.68. If you are a beginner, it is better to choose a slightly smaller pole so you can learn the right movements.
For example, if your height is 1m67, the calculation will be: 167 x 0.68 = 113.56. Adjust your Nordic walking poles to 110 cm.

How do I use Nordic walking poles?
1. In order to unmould the tips more easily, the product used leaves a soft film on the inside. To avoid losing the tip, simply put a little dust inside to remove the oil and the tip will fit securely on the end.2. The attachment for fastening the gauntlet at the handle has a direction. There is a flat side and one side with bevelled angles.Ensure the side with the bevelled angles is pointing upwards or put the gauntlets on your hands before clipping them to the pole.
